The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team fell to the St. John's Red Storm at St. John's 67-51. The win ups the Red Storm record to 4-0 while the Bearcats are now 1-4.

The big advantage in the game was the rebounding margin.  St. John's had the huge edge in that department with a 51-26 advantage.  In two previous meetings each team had one victory. Binghamton led 17-16 with 10:59 left in the first half.  But the Red Storm outscored Binghamton 19-7 in the closing minutes of the first half and led 35-24 at the half.

The Bearcats were paced by Jasmine Sina with 20 points and Imani Watkins with 18 points.  St. John's top guns were Aliyyah Hanford and Danaejah Grant who each scored 19 points.

The Bearcats continue to play on the road as they travel to St. Bonaventure for a 1 PM game Sunday against the Bonnies.  Airtime is 12:45 following the Barb Mack Show on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
