The Binghamton Bearcats crushed the Ave Maria Gyrene's Tuesday night at the Tom Golisano Fieldhouse in Ave Maria, Florida.  Binghamton rolled to a 95-77 victory against the NAIA school.  With the win the Bearcats move to 3-2 on the season.

Forward Bobby Ahearn shattered his personal best offensive performance with 27 points to pace the Bearcats.  Ahearn set his high of 19 points earlier this season against Central Connecticut State.  Last (Tuesday) night Ahearn went 11-13 from the field including one three-point basket and grabbed five rebounds in 25 minutes of playing time...averaging better than a point per minute.

Four other Bearcats fired in double digit games.  Freshman Fard Muhammad struck for 16 points, Yosef Yacob and Marlon Beck each scored 13 points and Thomas Bruce added 11 points for BU.

The Bearcats face stiffer competition the next two nights with games against Florida Gulf Coast and Long Beach State.  Both will be played at Florida Gulf Coast with airtime each night at 6:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
