The Binghamton Bearcats men's soccer team captured a road victory over the UMBC  Retrievers last (Wednesday) night in Catonsville, Maryland.  The Bearcats got a goal from Ben Ovetsky to capture a 1-0 decision over the Retrievers.    Ovetsky scored in the 80th minute of play for the only goal of the night.  Alejandro Cubillo was in goal for the shutout win.

The victory ups Binghamton's record to 1-0-2 in America East competition and 6-2-5 overall.  UMBC drops to 0-3-0 in the conference and 4-4-3 overall.  It is the first Binghamton win at UMBC since 2006.

The Bearcats started the week ranked 10th in the NSCAA East Region Poll.  BU returns to the Bearcats Sports Complex this weeekend.
