The Binghamton Bearcats face the Brown Bears this afternoon at 3:30 in Providence, Rhode Island.  It's the second game of the young season for the Bearcats who dropped a 5-point decision to Loyola of Maryland on Friday night at the Events Center before a crowd of over 4300.

On opening night standout Jordan Reed led the way for the Bearcats with 23 points and 9 rebounds before fouling out with under four minutes to play in the game.  Freshman forward Nick Madray hit for 22 points on torrid shooting,,,going 8-10 from the floor and 3-4 from beyond the arc.  Binghamton also got a double-digit performance from freshman Yosef Jacob with 11 points.

Today is the season opener for Brown.  The Bears compete in the Ivy League.  Binghamton will face its second Ivy league opponent this Wednesday when the Bearcats travel to Ithaca to face Cornell at 7 PM.  Binghamton returns home next Saturday at 2 PM to face Navy.
