The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team is in Baltimore to meet the Loyola Greyhounds at 4 PM today (Saturday).  Air begins at 3:45 PM on News Radio 1290 WNBF.  It is the fourth ever meeting between the two schools with Loyola having won the three previous match-ups.

Coming into the game the Greyhounds have battled injuries and are 1-7.  The Bearcats are 6-4 and have won five straight contests.  Loyola is the third consecutive Patriot League team the Bearcats are facing.  Last year Loyola topped Binghamton 90-85 in overtime at the Events Center.

Binghamton is led by standout junior center Thomas Bruce who is the reigning America East Player of the Week.  In his last outing versus Army Bruce scored 11 points, had eight rebounds and blocked six shots while J.C.Show scored a game-high 16 points.  Tyler Stewart had his first double-digit game for the Bearcats and finished with 12 points.

The Greyhounds have four starters returning and 11 lettermen back from their 16-17 season last year. Junior guard Andre Walker is a Preseason All Patriot League selection.  He is averaging 13.2 points per game so far this year.
