The Binghamton Bearcats men's lacrosse team faces a huge opponent tonight at 7 PM at the Bearcats Sports Complex when they host the Albany Great Danes.  The Great Danes come into the contest ranked fifth nationally in both the the USILA Coaches Poll and the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll.  They are 9-2 overall, 4-0 and on top in America East and just dropped a 12-11 decision at now second-ranked Maryland.

The Bearcats are tied for second place with UMBC in America East with 3-1 records.  The Retrievers edged the Bearcats 7-6 at UMBC last week.  Overall Binghamton is 9-2.  The Great Danes have a big advantage in the all-time series with a 14-3 edge.  Last year Albany topped the Bearcats 12-8.

Maine-Endwell graduate Tanner Cosens leads America East in goals-against-average and ranks fifth nationally. Bearcat Tom Moore is eighth in the nation in points-per-game average.
