Two Binghamton University Track & Field standouts are heading to the NCAA East Regional Track & Field Meet at North Florida on May 28-30. Senior middle distance runner Jesse Garn and sophomore jumper Keishorea Armstrong  have advanced to the Regional event.To qualify you must be in the top 48 performers in the Eastern half of the United States.  A similar meet will take place at Texas University for the Western half of the nation.  Then, the top 12 finishers in each event at both of those meets will advance to the NCAA Championships at the University of Oregon June 10-13.

Garn heads to the NCAA Regional Meet for the third time while Armstrong is making her first appearance at an NCAA East Regional.  Garn is seeded ninth overall in the men's 800 with a top time of 1:47:03.  Armstrong is seeded 14th in the long jump and 21st in the triple jump.

The first round of the 800 is scheduled for 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 28.  Armstrong will compete in the long jump at 7:00 PM Thursday, May 28 and in the triple jump on Saturday, May 30 at 4:00 P.M.
