Binghamton University's Keishorea Armstrong is heading back to the the NCAA Division I Championships this weekend.  She is competing in the long jump which is the same event she competed in during the 2015 outdoor championships.

Armstrong's senior season has been outstanding.  She has been named the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association Northeast Region Indoor Field Athlete of the Year.

Armstrong broke the America East Indoor Championships meet record with a long jump of 20-4 1/2 .  Then she qualified for the NCAA National Division I Indoor Championships with a long jump of 20-7 3/4 which is 15th best in the nation this season.

Armstrong has a wide assortment of honors heading into this weekend's competition.  She is an eight-time America East champion.  The NCAA Championships are being held at Texas A & M. Women's long jump competition begins at 8:15 Pm Eastern Standard Time.
