This basketball season has featured record-setting performances from two Bearcat women's basketball players.  These two standouts are setting new standards with every game they play.  Imani Watkins continues to lead the Bearcats and America East in scoring.  In her last game she broke the 2,000 point mark and now needs 19 more points to tie the all-time school record of 2,024 held by Bess Greenberg.  Watkins broke Erica Carter's school record for career three-point baskets a couple of games ago.  Carter held the record with 224 treys.

Alyssa James is making a strong bid to repeat as the conference's Defensive Player of the Year.  She is averaging ten rebounds per game and is on pace to break 1,000 rebounds in her career as well.  James is 14th all-time in scoring at BU  with 1,024 in less than three seasons.

Both Watkins and James will lead BU into action on Wednesday night when Vermont invades the Events Center,  Tipoff is set for 7 PM.
