The annual Baseball Hall of Fame Induction ceremonies are set for this weekend in Cooperstown.  The actual inductions take place on Sunday with the Hall adding six new standouts.  This year three inductees are being honored for their playing career and three are being honored for outstanding managerial careers.

Standout pitchers and longtime teammates Tom Glavine and Greg Maddux along with powerful slugger Frank Thomas will enter as players.  Joe Torre, Tony LaRussa and Bobby Cox go in as managers.

The induction ceremonies begin at 1:30 PM Sunday on the grounds of the Clark Sports Center. Tomorrow the Hall of Fame Golf Tournament is scheduled beginning at 8 AM at Leatherstocking Golf Course.  There will be an awards winner press conference with Spink Award winner Roger Angell and Frick Award winner Eric Nadel at 1 PM.  That is to be followed by the inductee press conference, and awards presentation at Doubleday Field and then the Hall of Fame Legends Parade at 6PM.
