Baratta Apparently Wins Owego Mayor Seat

The race for Mayor of the Village of Owego appears to have a winner but Mike Baratta III is shown to have beaten incumbent Mayor Steven May by a very narrow margin of less than a dozen votes.

Baratta is shown to have 264 votes to May’s 255 with absentee ballots still to be tallied following the March 20 balloting.  Timothy Taft also challenged May for his seat.
