Bainbridge Woman Accused of Heroin Sale Intent

Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]A Town of Bainbridge woman is accused of planning to sell heroin.

Chenango County Sheriff’s Deputies stopped 34 year old Jodi Babcock on State Highway 7 in the Town of Bainbridge during a Drug Interdiction Detail Friday, January 29.

Babcock was stopped for operating a suspended vehicle, aggravated unlicensed operation and loud exhaust,

During the investigation, Deputies say they found several hypodermic needles and heroin that they determined Babcock had intended to sell.

She was also wanted on an outstanding warrant issued by City of Norwich Court.

Babcock was sent to the Chenango County Jail on $5,000 bail.
