The driver of a tractor trailer loaded with 34,000 pounds of powdered baby formula is being ticketed for speeding, failure to maintain lane and other counts with further charges pending.

Broome County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a tractor trailer rollover crash on Interstate 88 west at the Interstate 81 south interchange at 7:11 a.m. June 26 and say 50 year old Allen Boudreau of St. Albans, Vermont had drifted off the side of the highway on a sharp curve.

The rig flipped on its side at the end of the bridge and went down an embankment in the area of Nirchi’s Pizza on Front Street in the Town of Dickinson.

Deputies say Boudreau suffered minor injuries to his head and hand.
