The Binghamton Senators earned a 4-3 overtime victory over the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins last night at the Mohegan Sun Arena. Chris Wideman scored the winning goal 30 seconds into the overtime period on a power-play.

The win puts the B-Sens up by four points over the Hershey Bears in the East Division of the  American Hockey League.  Binghamton has 68 points with Hershey checking in with 64.  With the loss Wilkes-Barre/ Scranton drops into a third -place tie with Norfolk with 62 points.

The B-Sens meet the Hamilton Bulldogs at the Bell Centre in Montreal tomorrow night.  Then on Saturday night Binghamton returns home to host the Utica Comets in a 7:05 game.  Goaltender Andrew Hammond got the win in net.  He made his third consecutive start and upped his record to 16-10-3.
