The Binghamton Senators crushed the Rochester Americans 5-0 Saturday evening in a pre-season game played at the Floyd L Maines Veterans Memorial Arena.  Binghamton scored three of their goals via the power-play.  The B-Sens were up 3-0 after the first 20 minutes of action.

Francis Perron and Michael Blunden each scored two goals to pace Binghamton's offense.  Chris Driedger made 26 saves in working the shutout for Binghamton.

With the 5-0 win the B-Sens split the home and home series with the Americans.  Rochester won 4-3 in Rochester on Thursday night.

Binghamton is set to open the regular season on Saturday, October 15 at home against the Hershey Bears at 7:05 PM.  Tickets are available at the usual ticket outlets for opening night as well as for season tickets.
