The Binghamton Senators return home tonight (Saturday) for a 7:05 game against the Springfield Thunderbirds at the Floyd L Maines Veterans Memorial Arena.  Binghamton picked up a road win last night in Syracuse with a 4-2 decision over the Crunch.  Phil Varone keyed the decision with a four point game including a pair of short-handed goals.

The B-Sens clinched the victory with an empty net goal from Max McCormick late in the third period.  Matt O'Connor earned the win in goal making 34 saves.

Entering tonight's game against Springfield the B-Sens record is 17-19-2-1 for 37 points.  Springfield also has 37 points with a record of 15-16-5-2. The Thunderbirds have won two of the previous three meetings this season against the B-Sens.  Last night Springfield fell 5-3 to Bridgeport.

Tonight's game features Mascot Mania with B-Sens' mascot Max and a number of his mascot friends.  The B-Sens will hold a jersey auction immediately following the game with proceeds going to the Broome Sports Foundation and the Tommy Mitchell Memorial Scholarship Fund.
