B-Sens Defeat Phantoms

The Binghamton Senators topped the Lehigh Valley Phantoms Saturday, December 19 at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena 2-1 in American Hockey League action.

Nick Paul scored the game-winning tally for the B-Sens.  It was Paul's first goal of the season and came with 2:20 left in regulation.  Ryan Dzingel scored the other marker for Binghamton...his seventh of the season.

Matt O'Connor posted his second win of the year in goal for the B-Sens.  Binghamton out shot Lehigh Vallley 32-23.

The win before an announced crowd of 3,831 puts Binghamton's record at 7-17-2.  The B-Sens are idle until next Saturday, December 26 when they host Hartford in a 7:05 p.m. start.
