The Binghamton Senators closed out the home portion of their regular season against the Hershey Bears with a 4 - 2 win tonight at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena.  Binghamton led 2-1 at the end of the first period on goals from Shane Price and Brett Lebda.

In the second period Stehane Da Costa scored on a five-on-three power-play advantage to up the score to 3-1 Binghamton.  In the third period the Bears cut the lead to one on a Garrett Mitchell tally at the 18:34 mark but Mark Stone notched an empty net goal ti secure the B-Sens victory.

Marc Cheverie made 24 saves to earn the win in goal.  The B-Sens finish the regular season in Syracuse  tomorrow at 3 PM.  Binghamton will host Calder Cup playoff games next Saturday and Sunday with the opponent finalized tomorrow.
