The Binghamton Mets came from behind to edge the New Hampshire Fisher Cats Friday night by a score of 2-1 at NYSEG Stadium.  It was the first game of a seven-game homestand for Binghamton.

Gabriel Ynoa earned his second win of the season as he started and pitched six innings to get the decision.  Ynoa struck out eight Fisher Cats along the way. Cory Burns had a blown save as he gave up two runs and four hits in 1.2 innings pitched.

Gavin Cecchini singled to centerfield to drive in the winning run for Binghamton. Paul Sewald recorded the save out of the bullpen for BU.

Binghamton has now won five consecutive games and has a record of 13-8.  The two teams will meet again Saturday and Sunday in 1:05 PM starts.  Airtime is set for 12:50 both days on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
