The Binghamton Mets and Altoona Curve played a 12 inning game that took four hours and two minutes to complete.  The Binghamton Mets won it 8-6 in the bottom of the 12th inning on a Vince Belnome two-run home run.  The game closed the regular season for both teams.  Both head to the playoffs.  Binghamton will host Reading beginning with a 6:35 game on Wednesday night.  The Curve will host the Bowie Baysox in their Western Division Championship Series.

Outfielder Brock Peterson stole the show for the B-Mets.  With the bullpen depleted both managers used position players to pitch the final innings.  Peterson made his fourth ever pitching performance and threw three scoreless frames to earn his first professional victory.
