The Binghamton Mets took 13 innings but produced a win last night at NYSEG Stadium as they topped the Hartford Yard Goats 3-2.  Maikis De La Cruz pinch-hit in the bottom of the 13th inning and drove in L.J. Mazzilli with a walk-off single to give Binghamton the win. Logan Taylor upped his record to 4-0 with the victory in relief.  Rafael Montero started on the mound and pitched six innings, gave up two runs and struck out five Yard Goats.  Montero is trying to work his way back to the Major Leagues and made his first Binghamton start since 2013.

Amed Rosario continues to sparkle at shortstop.  He went 1-3 and walked three times for the B-Mets.  He has now hit safely in 17 of 18 games as a B-Met.

The B-Mets and Yard Goats meet again tonight at 7:05 at NYSEG Stadium.  Air for the pre-game show is set for 6:50 PM on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
