B-Mets Travel to Portland
The Binghamton Mets continue their road trip tonight with their first of four consecutive games at Hadlock Field in Portland, Maine. Tonight's game against the Sea Dogs begins at 6:00 PM with air at 5:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
Yesterday Binghamton had its six-game winning string snapped with a 3-1 loss in New Hampshire against the Fisher Cats. Robert Gsellman took his first loss of the season on the mound for the B-Mets.
Lefty Andrew Barbosa looks for his first win of the season after coming off a ten-strikeout no decision against the Sea Dogs last week. Teddy Stankiewicz starts for the Sea Dogs. He is 0-0 with a sparkling 1.13 ERA.
Binghamton won all three games against the Sea Dogs in Binghamton last week. the B-Mets have had good luck playing at Hadlock Eield. Including a pair of playoff victories in 2014 the B-Mets have won their last 12 games in Portland.
