The Binghamton Mets were hit with a 7-1 road loss in Akron on Sunday. The RubberDucks swept all three games of the weekend series.  Binghamton has now lost 13 of its last 16 games.

Michael Peoples started and worked six innings to earn the win for Akron.  Casey Delgado went 4.2 innings and gave up four runs to take the loss for the B-Mets.  Delgado falls to 1-2 on the season.

Akron's Eric Haase did much of the damage with four RBI's.The RubberDucks have now won 15 straight games at Canal Park.  The loss drops the Binghamton Mets record to 17-24.

Binghamton hopes the friendly confines of NYSEG Stadium can reverse their fortunes. They begin an eight-game homestand Monday night by hosting the Richmond Flying Squirrels at 6:35 PM.
