The B-Mets hosted the Portland Sea Dogs at NYSEG Stadium in the third game of their four-game series.

May 5 Binghamton got a solid 6.2 inning outing from Seth Lugo and topped the Sea Dogs 3-1.  Adam Kolarek and Paul Sewald came on  to retire all seven hitters they faced.  Kolarek has been tough recently and has not given up a run in his last 5.1 innings pitched.

Josh Rodriguez leads the Eastern League in home runs with five and is fourth in slugging percentage at .579.  T.J.Rivera has gotten at least one hit in all four games he has played in since his return from the disabled list.

The teams close their series with another 6:35 game May 7. The B-Mets then head to Akron May 8 to begin a six-game road trip.
