The Binghamton Mets opened their home portion of the 2015 season April 1t when they hosted the Harrisburg Senators at NYSEG Stadium.

Binghamton played the first seven games of the season on the road and compiled a record of 4-3.  Festivities got underway with player introductions and the raising of the 2014 Eastern League Championship Banner.

But, cutting to the chase, hometown fans were treated to the red-hot bat of T.J. Rivera, who went 4-4, driving in 3 runs and helping to catapult the B-Mets to a 9-3 romp at the Bee Hive over the Harrisburg Senators.

Fans attending last night's game got a collector's item DVD documenting the B-Mets run to the 2014 title.

The B-Mets and Senators get cozy for the entire weekend, meeting Friday at 7:05 p.m. and with 1:05 p.m. games on Saturday and Sunday.

Binghamton entertains the Erie SeaWolves next  April 20-22 at 6:35 p.m.

Following the week-long homestand the B-Mets travel for four games at New Hampshire and three games at Portland.
