As Binghamton Mets Radio Voice Tim Heiman says the Binghamton Mets "put a seal on it" today (Monday) as they close out their season with a home game against the Erie Seawolves at NYSEG Stadium. The first pitch is scheduled for 1:05 PM with air at 12:50 on ESPN 1360 AM.  The B-Mets failed to qualify for the post-season this year.

Binghamton played one of its best games of the season last night coming away with an 8-1 victory.  Andrew Barbosa was outstanding yielding only one hit and no runs in eight innings of work.  Phillip Evans went 2-5 in the game to put his season average at .330.  He is second in average in the Eastern League behind Portland's Aneury Tavarez who is hitting .335.

The B-Mets enter the final game with a record of 63-76.  Erie is 61-79.  Mickey Jannis is the scheduled starter for the B-Mets.  He is 3-11.  Artie Lewicki starts for the SeaWolves.  He is 1-7 this season.
