Mother Nature won last night's duel. The B-Mets hope they end up on top tonight.  Binghamton's scheduled home game with Erie was postponed by heavy rains that moved through the area.  So that means a doubleheader is set for today.

Start time is 5:35 with airtime at 5:20 on News Radio 1290 WNBF.

The rain out cuts the B-Mets home stand down to two days with a single game set for tomorrow night.  That leaves just one more home stand on the B-Mets regular season schedule.

Akron beat Portland last night in Portland, 5-4.  That leaves Binghamton just 1.5 games out of a tie for first place in the Eastern Division.  Greg Peavey gets the start in game one tonight while Angel Cuan will start in game 2.  Matt Bowman was the scheduled pitcher for the second game but he has been assigned to Triple-A Las Vegas.  Peavey is 9-2 with the B-Mets this season.  Cuan is 3-4.
