The Binghamton Mets begin a five-game series in New Hampshire tonight as they face the Fisher Cats.  Binghamton has the best record in the Eastern League at 51-30 while New Hampshire is 40-44 and twelve and one-half games behind the front runners in the Eastern Division of the Eastern League.

Logan Verrett looks for his ninth win of the season tonight as he gets the starting nod on the mound for Binghamton versus Marcus Walden for the Fisher Cats.  The B-Mets and Fisher Cats play night games tonight through Sunday and end the series with a 12:35 game on Monday.  Then both teams will be off  for the Eastern League All-Star game until Thursday, July 11.

B-Mets slugger Cesar Puello hit .441 in June and is batting .329 for the season, third in the EL.  Allan Dykstra is also near the top in hitting with a .316 average, fifth best among Eastern League batters.

Tonight's game begins at 7:05 (airtime at 6:50 PM on News Radio 1290 WNBF). The B-Mets have not lost a series since May 6-8 when they played in Trenton.  Binghamton returns home to host Portland one week from tonight in a 6:35 game.
