The Binghamton Mets won their sixth straight game Saturday evening as they defeated the New Hampshire Fisher Cats 5-2 in New Hampshire.  The difference was a three-run home run by Matt Oberste in the eighth inning that powered Binghamton to the win.

Luis Mateo earned the victory in relief for the B-Mets putting his record at 1-2.  Overall Binghamton moves to 11-9 while the Fisher Cats drop to 7-13.

Akeel Morris came on to earn the save for manager Pedro Lopez.  The B-Mets and Fisher Cats meet again Sunday afternoon at 1:35 (air at 1:20) on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
