The Binghamton Mets look for a clean sweep this afternoon at NYSEG Stadium as they host the Portland Sea Dogs.  Binghamton swept a doubleheader last night against the Sea Dogs posting wins of 6-1 and 1-0.  With the wins Binghamton is now five games behind the Sea Dogs in the Eastern Division of the Eastern League.

In last night's first game former Binghamton University ace Mike Augliera suffered the defeat dropping his record to 3-8.  Augliera threw six innings and allowed six runs on ten hits.  Angel Cuan tossed five scoreless innings to earn the victory for Bijnghamton.

Rylan Sandoval drove in the only run of the game to give the B-Mets the win.

A win this afternoon would put Binghamton within four games of the lead as they try to overtake the Sea Dogs and move into first place.  Today's game is being broadcast on Binghamton's ESPN connection 1360 AM.
