The Binghamton Mets host the Hartford Yard Goats tonight (Tuesday) at NYSEG Stadium at 6:35 (air at 6:20 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  Binghamton defeated Hartford 6-3 last night behind the solid pitching of Rafael Montero who pitched seven shutout innings.  David Roseboom shut down the side in the ninth inning to get his 12th save this season.  Amed Rosario and Dominic Smith clobbered home runs for the B-Mets.  With the win Binghamton's record goes to 59-67 while Hartford drops to 70-56.

Ricky Knapp puts a 3-0 record on the line tonight.  He opposes Alex Balog who is 5-1.  Dominic Smith has raised his batting average to .301 as he went 3-3 last night.  He now has 14 home runs and 83 RBI.

Including tonight's game the B-Mets have 13 games left in the season.  Six of those games are home with seven on the road.  Binghamton's season ends on Labor Day with a home game against Erie.
