B-Mets Get Fifth Straight

The Binghamton Mets have their fifth consecutive victory with another win in New Britain, Connecticut against the Rock Cats. With July 20 3-2 win over the Rock Cats the B-Mets trailed Reading by just one-half game in the Eastern Division pennant race.  Trenton fell to third place...one game behind Reading.

The July 21 contest ended with another decisive win, 4-1 over the Rock Cats

The B-Mets are 13-6 in July and lead the Eastern League in team ERA at 1.91 for the month.  At the plate the B-Mets are hitting .277 which is also tops in the Eastern League in July.
