Starting pitcher Logan Verrett went 8 innings on the mound for the victory today at NYSEG Stadium as the B-Mets rolled by the Akron Aeros 7-2.  Verrett was sharp throughout the game as he struck out 8 batters and gave up just two hits.

Verrett ups his record to 4-0 with the win.  Center-fielder Alonzo Harris got the BMets off and flying with a leadoff home run to start the game.  Left-fielder Darrell Ceciliani had three hits for Binghamton including an RBI double. The B-Mets banged out 13 hits on the way to the victory.

Ryan Church came in to close out the game in the ninth inning for Binghamton.  The two teams meet again tomorrow afternoon at 1:05 at NYSEG Stadium.  Airtime is 12:50 PM following the Barb Mack Show on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
