The Binghamton Mets home opener is less than one month away.  The B-Mets open the home portion of their schedule on Thursday, April 11 at 6:35 PM when they host the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.  Tomorrow, individual tickets for all 71 B-Mets home games will go on sale at 9:00 AM.  Fans can purchase tickets at the NYSEG Stadium Box Office, online at www.bmets.com or by phone at (607) 723-METS.

Ticket prices are staying the same with reserved grandstand seats priced at $9 and box seats priced at $11.  $2 discounts are available for seniors 60 and over and kids 14 and under.

Fans who love fireworks will be treated to the Toyota Fireworks series after 23 home games this season.  The B-Mets are scheduled to play at home on all the major summer holidays and are home for 11 weekends during the season

For Yankees fans the Trenton Thunder, New York's Double-A affiliate, will visit three times including weekend series June 27-30 and July 25-28.  The B-Mets host the Boston Red Sox affiliate, the Portland Sea Dogs, for three different series as well.

Friday home games will begin at 7:05 PM.  Saturday games are afternoon affairs until May 25, then game time moves to 7:05 PM.  Friday starts are scheduled to begin at 7:05 as well.

Once again B-Mets games will be carried on News Radio 1290 WNBF with the exception of weekday day games.  Those will be aired on ESPN 1360 AM.  Tim Heiman returns as the play-by-play "Voice" of Binghamton Mets baseball for his second season.
