The Binghamton Mets hit the road for a three-game series in New Hampshire beginning tonight at 7:05 (air at 6:50 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  The B-Mets enter the weekend in first place in the Eastern Division of the Eastern League with a one game lead over  Portland and a 4.5 game edge over the Fisher Cats.

Binghamton is coming off a successful homestand winning five out of seven games. The B-Mets and Fisher Cats have already played eight times this season with Binghamton holding a 5-3 advantage.  Binghamton's road record is 15-11.

Logan Verrett wlil get the start on the mound for Binghamton.  His six wins ties him for the lead in that category in the Eastern League.  He is 1-0 versus New Hampshire.  Derek McGuire will make his 11th start for the Fisher Cats and is 2-5 so far this year including a 1-1 record versus Binghamton.

Josh Rodriguez has now hit safely in 15 consecutive games.  In yesterday's 6-4 win over Altoona he went 3-5 and drove in a pair of runs including the game-winner.

Following three straight games in New Hampshire the B-Mets have a day off on Monday and then host the Trenton Thunder in a three-game series beginning next Tuesday at NYSEG Stadium.  Trenton is the Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees.
