The Binghamton Mets continue their homestand tonight as they host the Portland Sea Dogs at 6:35 PM  (6:20 on News Radio 1290 WNBF) at NYSEG Stadium. The Sea Dogs visit for three games.  Binghamton brings a 6-4 record into tonight's game while the Sea Dogs are 4-5.

Yesterday the B-Mets topped New Hampshire 6-3 to earn a split in the four- game series.  Starter Rafael Montero threw five innings of two-run baseball and gave up just three hits while striking out six.  Montero has been solid in all three of his starts for the B-Mets this season.

Cory Vaughn hit a three-run home run to pace Binghamton to the win.  Right-handed pitcher Cory Mazzoni was tonight's scheduled B-Mets pitcher but has been placed on the disabled list, retroactive to April 11.

The New York Mets organization announced several other moves today.  Lefty hurler Adam Kolarek was transferred from Binghamton to AAA Las Vegas.  Other pitching moves involve right-hander Luis Mateo transferred from High-A St. Lucie to Binghamton and southpaw pitcher Shawn Teufel moved from Extended Spring Training to Binghamton.
