The Binghamton Mets hope to rebound from last night's 8-2 loss to Reading at NYSEG Stadium.  Reading scored five runs in the fifth inning and the B-Mets could not recover.  The win raised the Fightin Phils record to 77-38 while Binghamton falls to 53-61.  Derrick Gibson and Phillip Evans each had a pair of hits for Binghamton.

Tonight Rafael Montero makes the start against Reading's Tyler Viza.  Montero is looking to move back up the Mets' ladder and is 3-1 with a 2.27 ERA since his demotion from Triple-A Las Vegas.

Binghamton's Dominic Smith has hit safely in eight consecutive games and has driven in at least one run per gcontest in that span.  The two clubs meet again tomorrow (Thursday) night for another 6:35 game at NYSEG Stadium.  Binghamton then heads out on the road for a week.
