The Binghamton Mets play the Altoona Curve tonight at 6:35 at NYSEG Stadium in the first of a three-game series.  Coverage begins at 6:20 PM on News Radio 1290 WNBF.  Mickey Jannis makes the start for Binghamton against the Curve's Clay Holmes.

Heading into tonight's contest the B-Mets have an overall record of 16-19 and are in fifth place in the Eastern Division of the Eastern League.  The B-Mets are 7-7 at home.  Altoona is in second place in the Western Division and the Curve enters tonight's game with a slate of 20-17.  Altoona is 9-9 on the road this season.

The B-Mets will announce the six finalists in the "Name the Team" contest prior to tonight's game.  Fans will then be able to vote for the new name of the Binghamton Mets throughout this season.

Following three straight games against Altoona the B-Mets head to Akron to face the RubberDucks this weekend.  Binghamton then returns to NYSEG Stadium for eight consecutive games including four against Richmond and four more against Trenton.
