The Binghamton Mets homestand continues tonight (Monday) when they host the Portland Sea Dogs, the Boston Red Sox affiliate in the Eastern League.  Binghamton snapped a six-game losing streak Sunday afternoon with a 6-2 win over the Erie Seawolves.  Coming into this series the B-Mets are 6-9 and the Sea Dogs are 6-12.

Portland was swept in four straight games over the weekend by the Hartford Yard Goats.  In tonight's action Portand is scheduled to start Kevin McAvoy on the mound.  McAvoy is 3-0 with a 2.16 ERA. Binghamton counters with Robert Gsellman who is 1-0 with a sparking 1.45 ERA.
