The Binghamton Mets close out their three-game home series against the Akron RubberDucks today (Sunday) at 1:05 PM.  A Mother's Day brunch was held to celebrate Mom's special day at the ball park.

Binghamton dropped an 11-inning game to Akron on Saturday by a final score of 2-1.

Nellie Rodriguez hit a solo home run off relief pitcher Mike Hepple for the deciding marker.  Binghamton falls to 14-12 this season while the RubberDucks are 19-9.

A pair of left-handers oppose each other on the mound.  Andrew Barbosa (1-0) opposes Akron's Rob Kaminsky (1-2).  Following today's game the B-Mets head to Reading for three games beginning Monday night and then head back to Portland, Maine for five games including a doubleheader beginning at 5:00 PM Friday (air at 4:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).
