B-Mets Home Opener Set For Tonight

The Binghamton Mets host the New Hampshire Fisher Cats at 6:35 PM (6:20 PM airtime on News Radio 1290 WNBF) tonight at NYSEG Stadium in the first home game of the 2013 season.  A Welcome Back B-Mets Tailgate Party will be held in the NYSEG Stadium parking lot beginning at 3:330 PM.

Free hot dogs, hamburgers, Lupo's spiedies and soda will be available while supplies last until the gates open at 5 o'clock.  The first 5,000 fans get a free Binghamton Mets schedule magnet.

Binghamton comes into the game with a 4-2 record after having yesterday's game in Erie suspended in the fourth inning by rain. The B-Mets and SeaWolves will finish that game on August 9 in Erie with the B-Mets leading 1-0.  The B-Mets host New Hampshire through the weekend and then entertain the Portland Pirates next  Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
