The Binghamton Mets hope to get better pitching as they hit the road for six straight games beginning tonight in Harrisburg.  Erie roughed up the B-Mets top two starting  pitchers in the last two games..

Rafael Montero surrendered ten runs on ten hits in an 11-4 loss to the SeaWolves Wednesday night and Logan Verrett was ripped for six runs on eight hits in a 9-1 loss last night.  Verrett suffered his first loss of the season and is now 4-1.

Right-hander Jacob deGrom gets the start on the mound tonight for the B-Mets. It will be his fourth Double-A start this season.  In his last outing he got a no-decision against the Akron Aeros.  He will be opposed by another righty...Blake Treinen who is looking for his third win of the season.

The B-Mets continue the series in Harrisburg tomorrow night at 7 PM and then play Sunday at 2 PM.  Binghamton will  travel to Trenton for three 7:05 games next Monday through Wednesday.

Airtime for tonight's game is 6:45 with Tim Heiman on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
