B-Mets Head Home
The Binghamton Mets finished a successful six game road trip last night with a 4-3 victory over the Altoona Curve in Altoona. Robert Gsellman had a solid outing going eight innings and earning his third win of the season. With the decision Binghamton ended up winning four games and losing two. The B-Mets took two out of three games in both Erie and Altoona.
The B-Mets are idle today (Monday) and return to action Tuesday night at 6:35 when they host the Trenton Thunder at 6:35 (air at 6:20 on News Radio 1290 WNBF) at NYSEG Stadium. Following three straight against Trenton the B-Mets host the Hartford Yard Goats in another three-game series beginning on Friday evening.
Coming into Tuesday night's action Reading leads the Eastern Division with a record of 39-19. Trenton is second with a slate of 34-22...four games out of first place. The B-Mets are 23-32 and trail Reading by 14.5 games.
