The Binghamton Mets closed out their seven-game homestand last night with a 1-0 loss to the Portland Sea Dogs.  Jacob DeGrom made his Double-A debut on the mound for the B-Mets and gave up the only run of the game to take the loss.  DeGrom allowed only three hits over eight innings of work.

Brandon Workman was also outstanding for the Sea Dogs.  He allowed just four hits and struck out nine over seven innings of work to get the win. Tony Thomas drove in Portland's only run with a sacrifice fly in the fourth inning that plated Xander Bogaerts.

The B-Mets finished the homestand with a 3-4 record and even on the season at 7-6.  Binghamton hits the road for seven consecutive games.  Tonight the B-Mets open a four-game series in New Hampshire with a 6:35 game (air at 6:20 PM on News Radio 1290 WNBF)
