The New Hampshire Fisher Cats handed the Binghamton Mets their first shutout loss of the season Sunday in a 5-0 decision.  The teams split the four-game series at NYSEG Stadium.  After Seth Lugo threw seven shutout innings Chase Huchingson battled control issues and walked four Fisher Cats which led to all five of their runs.Huchingson is now 1-2 after pitching just two-thirds of an inning.  The B-Mets only scoring threat came in the sixth inning when they got a runner to third base but starter Matt Boyd put down the next two batters to keep Binghamton off the scoreboard.

With the loss the B-Mets record drops to 21-16.  Binghamton has an open date on the schedule Monday and then begins a three-game series in Harrisburg on Tuesday night in a 6:30 game.  Air on News Radio 1290 WNBF with Tim Heiman is set for 6:15 PM.
