The Binghamton Mets wrapped up their road-trip with a day game in New Britain, Connecticut today and the Rock Cats earned the decision with a 1-0 victory.  The teams had to wait through a 70-minute rain-delay before getting started.

B-Mets starter Mark Cohoon allowed just two singles over the first four innings but in the fifth inning Danny Ortiz jacked a home run to right field to lead off the frame and that proved to be the only run the Rock Cats would need.

New Britain's Logan Darnell went eight strong innings to get the win.  Michael Tonkin closed out the ninth inning to preserve the victory and give the Rock Cats a split of the four-game series.

Binghamton returns home for seven straight games beginning tomorrow night at 7:05 against the Portland Sea Dogs.  The B-Mets and Portland are battling for first place in the East Division.
