The Binghamton Mets closed out their series at NYSEG Stadium against the Hartford Yard Goats today (Thursday) with a 5-2 victory.  Amed Rosario keyed the win with two runs batted in with a triple in the first inning. Dominic Smith drove in the eventual winning run when he plated Rosario in that inning.  Tyler Herron earned the win going seven innings giving up two runs on six hits.

David Roseboom closed out the win by working a scoreless ninth inning and earning his second save of the season.

The B-Mets head to New Hampshire for the weekend where they play three games against the Fisher Cats starting tomorrow night with a 7:05 game (air at 6:50 PM on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  Following Sunday's game the Eastern League takes a three-day break for the All-Star game.
