The Binghamton Mets host Erie in a four-game series beginning tonight at 7:05 at NYSEG Stadium. Prior to the game three new members will be inducted into the Binghamton Baseball Shrine.  Pitchers Heath Bell and Nelson Figueroa and former General Manager R. C. Reuteman will be honored before the first pitch.

Reuteman was the team's first general manager.  He oversaw stadium construction beginning in 1991 and served in the GM role until 2000.  Under his direction the team won a pair of Eastern League championships as well as hosting the 1994 Double-A All-Star Game.

Bell spent parts of three seasons with Binghamton beginning in 2001.  He went on to pitch 11 seasons in the Major Leagues and became one of the premier closers in the game.  He saw duty in 590 games and compiled a 38-32 record.

Figueroa saw duty in Binghamton in 1997 and 1998.  He played in New York with the Mets and five other Big League clubs.  His record was 20-35 and pitched in 145 games.  He now hosts the pre and post-games shows for SNY on New York Mets telecasts.
