The Binghamton Mets host the Portland Sea Dogs in a doubleheader today at NYSEG Stadium.  Last night's scheduled game between the top two teams in the Eastern Division of the Eastern League was postponed after heavy rains belted the area.  Heading into action tonight Portland holds a lead of seven games over second-place Binghamton.

Former Binghamton Bearcat Mike Augliera is the scheduled starter for the Sea Dogs in the first game.  Augliera played at BU from 2009 - 2012 where he won 23 games and was an America East First Team All-Conference selection in his junior and senior seasons.

Augliera was a fifth round selection of the Boston Red Sox in the 2012 MLB June Amateur Draft.  This is his third professional season.  He makes his 17th start of the season tonight.  His record with the Sea Dogs is 3-7 with a 5.36 ERA.  He was the starter and losing pitcher when Binghamton beat the Sea Dogs 5-1 at NYSEG Stadium on May 2nd.

Tonight's coverage begins at 5:20 PM on News Radio 1290 WNBF and wnbf.com.  The two teams finish the four-game series with a 1:05 game tomorrow afternoon.
