Roger Neel

Roger is the Morning Show host on Newsradio 1290 WNBF. In addition Roger serves as Program and Sports Director for WNBF and Program Director for ESPN 1360 AM WYOS. Roger came to WNBF to broadcast pro hockey with the American Hockey League's Broome Dusters and later Binghamton Whalers. He has been WNBF's Program Director since 1986. In addition Roger is the play by play voice of the Binghamton University Bearcats men's basketball team and was the Binghamton Mets Stadium Announcer for 12 seasons.. He graduated from Westminster College with a BA degree in Speech and Broadcasting. At Westminster he was a starting offensive tackle on their 1970 NAIA National Championship football team and was Captain of the baseball team in his Sr. season. Roger was selected for entry into the Binghamton Hockey Hall of Fame in 2003 and the Southern Tier Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 2010.

Townsquare Media Group anounced today that it has acquired five leading consumer expos from Northeast Trade Shows, Inc (d/b/a/America's Best Shows). The newly acquired expos include the Maine Log Home & Timber Frame Show, the Augusta Camper and RV Show, the Augusta Boat Show, the Maine Manufactured Housing Show and the Binghamton Camper and RV Show.

Bearcats Close Season With Loss to Hartford

The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball season came to a close last night in Albany as Hartford rolled to a 69-42 victory in an America East Tournament quarter-final playoff game.  Binghamton was hoping to make it a "third time's the charm" scenario after Hartford swept the regular season series
